50 Litre Simplex 1252 Nitrate Reduction Filter
50 Litre Simplex 1252 Nitrate Reduction Filter with Autotrol 255 valve head - Nitrate in mains and borehole water supplies occur as a result of pesticides leaching into the water. They can be reduced simply by passing the water through an ion exchange bed in a similar way to calcium being removed by a water softener.
The ion exchange media is regenerated by passing brine up through the media bed. This regeneration process is controlled by an automatic valve which starts and stops the regeneration cycle.
The valve is controlled by a water meter and programmed to operate as frequently as appropriate to the level of contaminants.
In order to accurately size and price a Nitrate removal filter, we need to know how many litres per hour of water need to be treated and what contaminants your water contains.
Supplied with separate brine tank 15 inches x 17 inches x 33 inches.
These Simplex units are despatched with resin separately and will require assembly. An installation kit and salt will be required as extra. Cabinet design may vary from picture shown.
