In February 2007 we purchased Garden Systems one of the country’s leading suppliers of irrigation systems in order to give us a wider and more extensive interest in the irrigation market. By combining our extensive resources we have continued to develop the irrigation division and are now able to provide a fully comprehensive portfolio including an improved installation service and mail order service.
We are extremely pleased to announce that Gardena europes leading brand of gardening equipment, has recognised our expertise and we are now one of their premier suppliers. Their confidence in us has been further reflected by a new joint initiative in offering a free design service, which ensures that clients receive the correct advice and products, expertly tailored to meet individual requirements.
Our Staff
Rory Dalzell – The founder of ECP Group gained his extensive knowledge of pumps and Water Engineering during his initial training and working practice in the UK with John J Gosling & Co. completing his full apprenticeship and then venturing further afield to North Yemen, Nigeria and Bermuda. Often faced with a lack of resources and a desperate need to establish a water supply for villages and communities who previously had never enjoyed the availability of clean fresh drinking water, he was able to put to good use and furthermore expand his knowledge of Water Engineering.
Max Dalzell – Has followed in his fathers footsteps; after completing his full 5 year Water Engineering Apprenticeship, he has gained extensive hands on knowledge in all aspects of the industry and is today taking a more active role in the general day to day running of the company, as well as being responsible for the work planning and deployment of the engineering staff.
Josie Dalzell – The finance director and the one that keeps us all in order. She helped to set up and establish the company and therefore has gained an invaluable wide ranging knowledge in the water engineering industry. Her ability to speak both Spanish and Italian has assisted in our dealings with various pump suppliers.
Tom Selby – Started up Garden Systems some 20 plus years ago after running various fruit farms. He has extensive knowledge in the horticultural industry as this was his original training, even had the pleasure of teaching horticulture! Since those early days he has gained extensive experience in horticultural watering from large scale to a few simple pots on a roof garden. Specialising in garden watering he is now one of the country’s leading experts.
Matt Rayfield – After successfully completing a BA (Hons) degree in Business & Management Studies, he now effectively heads the mail order department, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and clients receive the correct goods on the correct day – hopefully! Matt also is responsible for our web site, so any complaints you know who to contact!
