The water comes out in a pattern all round the nozzle. These can be fixed arc e.g. all round (360°), half circle (180°) and many are adjustable (90-210°). The throw can often be reduced by up to 25% with a screw adjustment.
The body is usually purchased separately from the nozzle
The pattern can either be a fan of water that comes out all around the nozzle or can be a series of jets. The fan type is not used that much now as it has a heavy water use but it can still be useful if the area is very small.
Now widely used is the Rotator type; this has a series of jets coming out at different angles that rotate. They use water very efficiently, are readily interchangeable and can be adjusted to fit the area very accurately. The throw can often be reduced by up to 25% with a screw adjustment.

Commercial irrigation pop up sprinklers with a wide range of bodies as well as full range of rotators. From 4m throw to 9m and from 90-270° as well as 360°. There is also a range of specialist nozzles for narrow corners as well as long thin strips. Use with the Garden Systems range of connections developed by us for maximum ease of installation.

Gardena
Lovely small sprinkler for throws of up to 4m. step adjustment - 90°, 180°, 270° and 360°. Use with Gardena fittings for a one stop shop or can be used with Garden Systems fittings.
Claber colibri
For a simple one stop irrigation pop up system for a small area, the Colibri kit is excellent value with 5 assorted heads. With the sprinklers low output per unit it means that the kit can usually be run as one zone from a standard water supply. (requires 15 litres per minute) A choice of 360° 180° 90°
