Over the years we have been presented with many interesting gadgets to water the greenhouse. Unfortunately most are a triumph of optimism over practicality and functionality.

The ones we have selected are the ones we know work and will carry on working and are practical to give you a system that should mean that you do not have to continually attentive to your greenhouse.

Oasis self watering system - self contained watering system with its own reservoir pump battery and can water up to 20 pots.

Gardena Holiday watering set. All you need to water up to 36 plants. Has a pumped supply from the mains electricity and you will need to supply a reservoir of water.

Reservoirs make your own self watering trays with these reservoirs either topped up automatically or refilled by a valve.

Growpot.   Many tomato and cucumber growers swear by these as it gives the plants an extra area for growth. Good for getting the plants away to a good start and the large water reservoid makes sure the water etners the compost slowly minimising compost erosion. Contains a cutting ring so fits accurately and the roots are not exposed.
