This drip irrigation system is very simple to install with all fittings being simple push fit barbed fittings. Using a mixture of both 16 tubing (polyethylene pipe) and micro tube the systems is unobtrusive and discreet to keep your patio or garden looking good. You simply lay out the solid tubing around the area you wish to water. You then punch a hole into the tube where you wish to water containers, pots or hanging baskets. Then you insert the dripper into the tube and then run a length of micro tubing up to the containers you are watering and then fasten it into place using the stake.

By using drip irrigation you are ensuring that the watering that takes place is done accurately and gently ensuring the plants get the right amount needed.

The watering system can be automated very easily by using an irrigation controller so that you can spend more time enjoying your patio and garden. One dripper will be able to water up to a 40cm (16in) diameter hanging basket for larger containers two will need to be installed. After you have installed the drippers if you think that a pot is not getting enough water it is easy to insert an extra dripper into the system. Each dripper will put on approximately 2 litres per hour. If pressure is high this will be more. Recomended that it is used with a pressure regulator.
