Battery irrigation timers are the most popular method for automatic watering, due to their easy programming and their reliability. Garden Systems are able to offer you a large selection of timers that will meet any watering requirements you may have.
The batteries in the automatic timers will last for a watering season and all timers will need to be drained down and then taken indoors to protect them from frost, because if they are damaged by frost they can not be repaired as the damage is internal and cannot be reached.
Most of the battery timers are aimed at single zones but we can accommodate up to 8 zones from a battery operated system.

We have been supplying the GARDENA range of timers for over 15 years and have found them to be simple to use and very, very reliable. The Gardena 1030 plus is one of our
most popular controllers and is ideal for all types of drip irrigation. The Gardena WT
is a simple water timer that is ideal for use in the greenhouse and drip systems to pots, containers and hanging baskets.
The GardenaT1030
is a key card timer that has the advantage of being able to work off the mains or a water butt. The beauty of the key card system is that once the timer has been set you remove the card and the timer cannot be tampered with, so it is great for exposed sites to stop people and little fingers from adjusting it.
Most of the Gardena models can have either a soil moisture sensor or a rain sensor attached to disable the
timer should enough water be received.
The premium is the top timer from Gardena with up to 6 start times and fully programeable. When used with the 6 way can run up to 6 zones.
Remember to use a twin tap either 2 or 4 way so you can carry on using your tap for other purposes.

The CLABER range of automatic timers is a range that Garden Systems has introduced and they offer another solution to your watering needs
with a very simple and efficient rain sensor. The Logica is a very simple timer with 15 preset programmes installed on it so all you have to do is turn the dial to the programme that you want to run and that's it the timer is set and will carry out the programme until you tell it otherwise.
The Video 2
and Video 6 automatic
controllers are great for drip systems.
While the Duplo is great for watering 2 zones of a watering system, however it is not suitable for two different irrigation systems that run on completely different run times as zone b needs to come on immediately after zone a.

Remember that all timers will fit onto a tap splitter if you want your tap to be used for other things not just the irrigation system.
From a Water Butt

At the moment we only do one timer that is suitable which is the Gardena Card Timer
Multi Zoned battery controllers from 2 to 8 zones
If you need to split your irrigation system into more than one zone we have several options.
If all the zones have a similar watering regime and you only wish to alter the time each valve is on for
1) the Duplo above
2) The orbit yard watering system comes as standard with 2 valves and a further 2 can be added
3) Gardena Premium controller with the Gardena 6 way.

4)Claber multipla up to 6 zones need to also have the Claber latching solenoids.

If you wish to have 2 or 3 entirely separate watering regimes use 2 or 3 controllers on either a twin tap or on our manifold.

The Toro system will cope with up to 8 zones and this sophisticated timer has three programmes so that a complete programme can be set that will cope with the diferent watering regimes of lawns, beds and containers.
Fully water proof so can be installed underground in a valve box.
Require a controller (either a 2, 4, 6, or 8 station), the Toro latching solenoids, manifold and witreto connect.

The Gardena Watering Control.
This system works by having Gardena valve boxes placed at strategic places

around the garden. The constant pressure supply is bought to each box. Inside each box either a single or 3

valves are placed and on top of each valve the irrigation controller is fixed, this has a 9v battery.
To set an irrigation cycle the controller is attached to the programming unit and the duration and frequency is loaded. The controller is then placed back on top of the valve and your automatic system is complete. There is no limit as to the number of valves that can be on a system. The programming unit can be used at several different sites as well.
