Adjustable Output Drippers

The adjustable output dripper has become our most popular drippers in our range.

The flexibility that these drippers have solves a wide range of watering problems.

The main problem container gardeners have is that they have a large number and range of different size containers, hanging baskets or pots that they wish to water all requiring a different amount of water you adjust the amount each dripper is delivering to give each container the water it requires saving water time and money

Usually this would involve running a number of drippers to the same plant or using a wide range of drippers that are not always compatible.  With the adjustable output dripper normally one dripper per conatiner is all that is needed saving time and money.

The adjustable output dripper watering system is ideal for any garden as these drippers have an adjustable output that ranges from 2 litres per hour to 20 litres per hour. So each dripper can be adjusted to suit every individual plants needs. The dripper when opened over half way squirts out the water around its top so that in large pots it does not give a concentrated watering spot.

The drippers come in four different forms, the most widely used is on a stake (OST) but it also comes as a barbed dripper (OBA) to go either into the 16 tube or in the end of a 6mm tube to hang down over a basket and as an in line dripper (OIN) to be daisy chained with 6mm tube.  The fourth is known as the vortex (OSV) and throws the water in a fine pattern upwards and these are used in narow beds as well as in the top of ferns to give extra humidity.

The system is a combination of larger tube and thin multi outlet tube which allows for a large number of these drippers to function in one system. The larger tube (often 16) is used to transport the water around the area that you wish to irrigate. Then you punch a hole into the larger tube with a sharp implement and then insert a take off fitting (that comes with the dripper) to attach the multi outlet tube if using the drippers away from the main tube. You then take the multi outlet tube to the container that you wish to water and attach the adjustable output dripper and insert it into the container. You can then adjust the amount of flow coming from the dripper by rotating the dripper head to let more or less water through, each dripper can also be complettely shut off if no watering is required. 3 drippers can be run from one take off with the micro t piece inserted into the multi outlet tube or use the in line drippers (OIN) and daisy chain together.
