In February 2007 we purchased Garden Systems one of the country’s leading suppliers of irrigation systems, in order to give us a wider and more extensive interest in the irrigation market. By combining our vast resources we have continued to develop the irrigation division and are now able to provide a fully comprehensive portfolio including an improved installation and mail order services.
We are extremely pleased to announce that Gardena europes leading brand of gardening equipment, has recognised our expertise and we are now one of their premier suppliers. Their confidence in us has been further reflected by a new joint initiative in offering a free design service, which ensures that clients receive the correct advice and products, expertly tailored to meet individual requirements.
Our Team
Rory Dalzell – The Managing Director and founder of ECP Group gained his extensive knowledge of pumps and Water Engineering during his initial training and working practice in the UK, with John J Gosling & Co. completing his full apprenticeship and then venturing further afield to North Yemen, Nigeria and Bermuda. Often faced with a lack of resources (well perhaps not in Bermuda) and a desperate need to establish a water supply for villages and communities who previously had never enjoyed the availability of clean fresh drinking water, he was able to put to good use and furthermore expand his vast extensive knowledge of Water Engineering which today makes him one of the country's leading water engineering experts.
Max Dalzell – Director and Project Manager, has followed in his fathers footsteps. After completing his full 5 year Water Engineering Apprenticeship, he has gained extensive hands on knowledge in all aspects of the industry and is today a vital and integral part of the company, as well as being responsible for the work planning and deployment of the engineering staff. Max is certainly proving to be a chip off the OLD block!!
Josie Dalzell – The finance director and the one that keeps us all in order. She helped set up and establish the company together with her husband Rory and therefore has gained an invaluable wide ranging knowledge in the water engineering industry. She is an important and integral part of the company and her ability to speak both Spanish and Italian has assisted us in our dealings with various pump suppliers. She has also taken on the responsibility with Matt in designing and setting up our web site. Her previous knowledge in art and design has been incredibly useful.
Matt Rayfield – Joined us from Garden Systems and is a highly experienced member of the irrigation department. Matt successfully completed a BA (Hons) degree in Business & Management Studies, he now heads the mail order department, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and that clients receive the correct goods on the correct day – hopefully! Matt is also our web site co-ordinator, so any complaints you know who to contact!
Kelby Hardwick – Having been with us for several years Kelby is now working closely with Matt, Josie and Max gaining a broad knowledge of irrigation and water engineering. He is taking on new responsibilities and training and enjoying his new found confidence.
Danny Topple – Service Engineer with an extensive knowledge of pumps, water treatment filters, wells, boreholes and irrigation. Danny T is also a compenent pipe fitter and his attention to detail is meticulous
Gary Foster – Engineer with a vast knowledge of pumps, water treatment filters, wells, boreholes and irrigation. Gary is also an extremely competent hands craftsman...if Noah needed an Ark building today Gary would be his man!
Jess Farthing – Engineer with a comprehensive knowledge of pumps, water treatment, filters, wells, boreholes and irrigation. Jess has relished the opportunity of learning new skills and is now also an extremely competent and experienced irrigation installer.
Danny Bleach – Joined us from Garden Systems and is our Irrigation Engineer, together with Jess and Gary they are a formidable team. Bleachy has proven to be a invaluable asset... the versatile Kanga / excavator / mole and trenching machine is his baby...he is as versatile as the Kanga machine and probably the forth attachement!
Oli Howlett - Due to further expansion and an increase in sales and irrigation installations, Oli Howlett is our newest recruit. Having previously worked for Garden Systems we are extremely pleased that he has joined us. His experience in all aspects of the mail order service will prove to be invaluable. Oli also has a degree in fine art photography.
